Brammibal’s Donuts is a fast-growing vegan donut company originally from Berlin and opened our doors in Hamburg in 2022. Here, we now operate five permanent cafés (Altona, Schanze, Gänsemarkt, Eppendorf, Überseequartier) as well as our own bakery in Altona.

A new position as Shop Manager (all genders) will be opening with us soon, and we are looking for YOU.

As our Shop Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of your store, keep a close eye on financial performance, motivate and train your team to deliver top performance every day, and—above all—lead by example. 🍩

As part of our Front of House (FOH) management team, you are one of the faces of Brammibal’s Donuts. The most important part of your role is serving our customers with a smile, supporting them with your donut expertise, and preparing delicious coffee. ⭐️

You will:

• Plan and order the donut quantities for your location

• Be in charge of the inventory of your entire store

• Make the monthly shift plan for your team based on your personnel budget

• Be responsible for holiday planning and organizing sick leave cover

• Run trial shifts for potential new team members

• Train and onboard your new team members

• Provide ongoing feedback and training to your existing team

• Enforce work safety and hygiene rules as well as our high product and customer service standards

• Participate in regular meetings with the Operations Team and your fellow Shop Managers

About you:

• Formal training or relevant experience in a leadership position within the restaurant/ hospitality/ tourism industry

• You love customer service and go out of your way to make each customer feel special 

• A love for donuts! Knowing our product is key.

• Experience with Speciality Coffee would be a plus

• Ability to speak English, some German would be a plus

• You are trustworthy, reliable and punctual

• Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week; part-time (30 hours) also possible

• Full-time salary of EUR 3,178.50 according to pay group 7
